Halfway Through the First Month

We are settling in to a semi routine. We try and swim most days and then bicycle or go walking around to see the sights. Interesting seeing a bald eagle eating the road kill on the side of the road. We have checked out the local Bass Pro, wow, the fish in the aquarium were pretty spectacular and the whole display was amazing. Now we know why their prices are so high. To pay for some of the show. They were setting up there Santa’s visiting area while we there. It included a small shooting range!
We have been a bit fascinated by the local ducks and turtles, so we took a walk and did a photo shoot of just them one day. While I have been painting, Tom has been flying his drone. It is working so far. I have been working on mixed media paper and I have found with the weather and paper, everything is drying very quickly. I have been spoilt in Ottawa with art stores. The only thing here is Michaels or Michaels type stores. And they have very limited stock.. On checking with some local artists at the local Farmer’s Market, We found that most people just order on line. Cheaper and easier. I have completed one painting so far of a wood stork. I took the photo behind the local CVS in the retaining pond.
Of course we had to take photos of the super moon too.
